I'm a little ashamed to admit that I watch Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane on a sometimes-regular basis. Some of the things she says really crack me up. I regularly use her "bring in the next child" line when one of mine is being difficult. But she is way too over the top for real world people like me. What I get out of watching it? The wish for an entourage like hers. I could really deal with having a chef, hair person, makeup person, full time cleaning staff at the house, and an assistant to plan every detail of my child's birthday party in a week's time. Apparently she works really hard at her multiple jobs, but don't we all? I don't want my kids not to understand the difference between wants and needs, but I wouldn't mind having that bedroom-size closet, either. What is your celebrity wish?
"Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging, and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous." ~ Carrie Bradshaw
