OK... I've been reading these blogs for over a month now and have finally decided to make my own. I have no idea what I am doing! I'm a married mom of two girls, ages 2 1/2 and 5 1/2, and currently working as an elementary teacher of gifted students in grades K - 5. I move around between 3 different schools each week, which keeps my head spinning. I've just started this position (called AIG) a couple of months ago; until then I taught 5th grade. So, I'm still figuring out all the in's and out's of being one of the "special" teachers. I love teaching, but hate getting up in the morning... if I could stay home with the girls, I would! My husband B works for a credit union, which makes him our money manager. We've been married for almost 8 years, but have known each other since we were 8 years old! He was a troublemaker as a child and I did not like him. Funny how things change... We love to travel, eat out, and I love to shop!
My daughters are beautiful, awesome, and amazing, but so energetic!!! There is never a dull moment. BigGirl is in kindergarten and amazes me every day with how much she knows and can do at age 5.5!!! She picked up reading during the first month of school and is reading on her own. I think she gets that from me!! She is my strong willed child, always high energy, a little hard to handle at times, but genuinely very sweet and loving. She has issues at school with staying in her seat!!! I think she gets that from her dad!! BabyGirl is my two year old sweetheart. She has been laid back and easy since day one, and is the teacher's pet in her preschool class because she always does what she is supposed to do! How crazy that my children can be so different!! She has an amazing vocabulary and picks up on EVERYTHING. I often wonder if we will have problems in the future with child #2 out- accomplishing child #1?? Right now they are the best of friends, so I hope that will continue.
Enjoy reading about me... I'm looking forward to meeting people whose lives are as insane as mine...!
